NATIVITY

THIS CUTE LITTLE IMAGE IS FROM STAMPENDOUS, THE STAR IS BY HERO ARTS, THE WORDS ARE BY D.O.T.S AND THE HOLLY IS MAGENTA.  EACH IS COLORED AND CUT OUT BY HAND, ALSO CUT SLIVERS OF YELLOW TO USE AS STRAW UNDER THE MANGER.  I USED YELLOW GLITTER GLUE ON THE HALO AND STAR ALONG WITH A HALF PEARL (ON STAR).  THE FRAME IS CUT OUT ON MY CRICUT AND I ADDED LINES TO IT TO MAKE IT LOOK MORE LIKE WOOD.  THE BACKGROUND IS SPONGED WITH MUSTARD SEED DISTRESS AND BROKEN CHINA DISTRESS INKS.
USED A BIT OF GLOSSY ACCENTS ON THE BERRIES.

PILLOW INSPIRATION

This card was taken from a pillow on an on-line store.
Used Spellbinder heart dies, Martha Stewart border punch (I frame cut the corners), White embossed background stamp (JudiKins).  Used a Cuttlebug embossing folder on the heart and half pearls on each cross section.  The die is from Elizabeth Designs.

Wee- Halloween

This is a Wee Stamp and words are by Darcie's.  I used Copics to color.  The only embellishments are some buttons and bat brads.  The web border is by Martha Stewart-Punch Around the Page punch set.  Paper is by Reminisce and BoBunny .

House Mouse-Say Cheese

So cute...love the house mouse stamps.  I used Glossy Accents on the candle then blue Liquid Pearls on the drips.  Used Foil with foil adhesive on the inside of cheese wrapper.
Swiss dot on the scallop circle.  Copics to color.

Merry Christmas-color challenge

Well, I did this one for a color challenge, deciding to keep it simple.  I had in mind what I wanted as far as a slate gray stormy sky splattered with white acrylic paint (use a toothbrush for this, learned from Tole painting). The pine cones are a chosen neutral color (soft suede). The other colors were Gumball Green, Smokey Slate and white.  Cheery Lynn Designs has these wonderful pine bough dies that I used to give it something extra along with the ribbon.  I also used some white Liquid Pearls and loose glitter on the pine cones.

Christmas Roses

Another stamp set from Heartfelt Creations with these wonderful circle words (I call them that because they are perfect for using with the Spellbinder nesting dies!!). The Rose Creation is also by Spellbinders.  The Holly and Berries is Heartfelt as well as the Decorative Leafy Frame.  The pink background paper was run through the machine with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.   I used some Ruby Red Liquid Pearls on this card where the holly and berries and in the words and just to the right side of the word circle is Ruby Red Liquid Pearls topped with red baubles (by Robin's Nest).  The large berries have Glossy Accents on them.

Partridge in Holly

I can't remember if this is a rock Partridge or some other kind but they really do have markings like this.  This stamp is from Heartfelt Creations as well as the holly and berries.  The holly and berries also have a die that fits them (which I used...you didn't think I fussy cut all that stuff did you?)  I used some Glossy Accents on the berries with some glitter glue on the shine spots.  I ran the white frame (with a circle cut out first) through my Grand Caliber with a Sizzix embossing folder (Holly).  I made the bow with the Bow Easy...it is 4 loops on each side.   Used Copics to color.

Heartfelt Creations winter window scene

Is it winter yet??? I wish! At least it's almost fall.  This is a card done for Heartfelt Creations with Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies (well, dies are Spellbinder/Heartfelt).  The embossing folder is one by Cuttlebug and I put little 3mm pearls each place it intersects. The snowflakes and pine boughs are cut from transparent vellum edged with Sky Blue Brilliance ink.  The oval window die cut actually has a cross bar in the middle that I cut away to see more of the scene.

ODBDSLC171-FALL

This is a fall color card created for Our Daily Bread Designs with the Scripture being from Our Daily Bread, the truck and small fall bouquet right bottom are from Heartfelt Creations and the pumpkins in the truck bed are from Lockhart Stamps.  I used the Decorative Leafy Frame die by Heartfelt/Spellbinders, Heartfelt/Spellbinders truck die and  Spellbinders nesting ovals.
Copics were used to color this old faded red truck and pumpkins.  I edged the card base, ivory oval and word tag with Rocket Red Brilliance (It has a gold tint to it).

Heartfelt Merry Christmas Scroll

This is one of the new beautiful stamps from Heartfelt Creations and the A2 Filigree frame by Spellbinders.

Merry Christmas scroll: Card size is 4 ¼ X 5 ½.  I stamped scroll with Black Memento and colored with Copic Markers.  I used the A2 Filigree Delight die set by Spellbinder to cut the oval around the image also to cut the gold filigree frame.  I also used a Spellbinder oval to cut away the center of the frame.
Gold ribbon is wrapped around a red panel (4 X 5 ¼) then glued to the folded white card.  Glue the filigree frame onto the red panel and pop up the image oval with foam tape or dots.  Tie a separate gold bow and adhere with a glue dot.
Use the pine bough from the Heartfelt Classic Edition (HCD724) with green and the Layered Poinsettia from Spellbinders with white (use only the two smallest sizes).  Form flowers with foam pad and flower tool then layer, add 3D-Stamp Paint by Viva Décor and glue gold micro beads in center.  Adhere all die cuts to image and then add gold dots (Pearl Pen by Viva Décor).
Add red baubles by Robin’s Nest to frame.

Heartfelt So Blessed

Hello friends! I did this card for a color challenge on SCS.  The colors are Very Vanilla, Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango, Crazy Cajun and Chocolate Chip.  The leaves are obviously the curry, tangerine and cajun (terra cota). The ink I stamped with and the card base are Chocolate and the Image base oval is Vanilla.
The leaves are by Heartfelt Creation and the words are from Hero Arts.
So. I stamped the main image onto Ivory (Vanilla) then cut out the part of the leaves that go beyond the oval before using the die that way I can leave them on top of the die and they won't get cut.  I colored them as I knew part of them would be showing.  I used glitter glue (Stickles) and Glossy Accents on the berries then let it dry and stamped my individual leaves, colored and cut them out.  My fancy decorative die in the background is from Heartfelt Creations (made by Spellbinders), I glue it to my base card.  I used Vintage photo distress ink around the edges of the oval before gluing it to my decorative die cut.  I added some sheer ribbon in the leaf colors and some sticks from the yard before glue dotting my individual leaves to the top.
Thank for coming to look!! Comments are most welcome!

Freddy the Frog

This card was a challenge by the Tea-potters at SCS.  It is being sent to a little boy of 8 who just had heart surgery.  The frame paper was embossed with a amphibian/reptile type folder. It is mounted on Bo Bunny green double dot.  The stamps for marsh and frog are by V.I.P. and the words by Inky Antics.
The frog is also sitting on a branch from the yard.

Here for you

My little Sympathy Bugs by Wee Stamps.  Just love these little cuddly buddies.  Decided on yellow, pink and green today, just because I love those colors together.  I found some paper to match by Karen Neuburger.
The Scripture today is by Verve Stamps.
The center of the flower is filled with pale yellow Flower Soft.
Used a Mini 8 punch-We R Memory Keepers, pearl halves, Spellbinder dies and Liquid Pearls-white to further embellish.

God's Stamp

I so love this technique!! I used real leaves with pigment ink on them and ran it through the Cuttlebug with a regular sandwich for cutting thin dies.  oh, I first watercolored the background with blues and greens. This group of leaves is from my favorite tree in the backyard, a Purple Robe Lotus.  A few more weeks and it will be all over my backyard and patio in little individual leaves, thousands of them!!
The scripture stamp is from Our Daily Bread Designs.

Pigs Fly

Today's challenge was to look at the featured stampers gallery and choose a card to CASE.  I picked one with a pig on it...not the same pig, not the same colors or papers but similar.  This pig is by Art Impressions and the words are by A Cottage Stamper.  The paper is from Bella Blvd.

Dandelions

Got the inspiration for these cards by something I saw on Pinterest...Not sure how the find it again though.
I used watercolor paper and wet it then used Pierless watercolors and let the colors sort of bleed together without really letting them mix (used a heat gun to stop the travel). I then stamped the images (by Fred Mullett) with bleach.  I used a paint brush and the watercolors to paint the stems.  The idea was to try and make it look like Dandelions floating through the air.

Autumn

Ok, first, this is one stamp from Stamps Happen.  I stamped it first with soft wheat on white (just so I could barely see the lines).  I then watercolored each section around the edges with Adirondack re-inkers, masking with post-its.  I then used a stamp aligner to restap image with bleach...it left the beautiful designs in the fresh watercolor.  I stamped the image one last time on another piece of white with chocolate Memento and cut out the middle section (frame and leaf) to color with Copic Markers.  I popped the frame with leaf up backing it with ivory.  I backed the main stamped image with ivory then mounted to a reddish brown card. I gave it a bit of texture with magic mesh corners.

ODBDSLC169 one layer card

One layer on a card base.  Yes, believe it...it is one layer (excluding pearl halves and ribbon of course).  I die cut and removed die cut then embossed rest of the piece of cardstock and with my finger tip, I rubbed some color on embossing.  On the piece I took out, I stamped and colored, poked out all the little pieces, then replaced it into the hole where it came from., thus, one layer.  I glued everything down onto a pink folded card.  I looked at the samples done by the design team at Our Daily Bread Designs and found that they had used ribbon and stones so I figured it would be ok for me to do as well!
Stamps are by Our Daily Bread Designs.  Embossing folder is from Cuttlebug.  Die is from Spellbinders.
Copics were used on the image and Brilliance ink was used to color the embossing.

National Honey week

I just love this cute bear couple...reminds me of me and Andy for some odd reason!  LOL!!  These are Penny Black stamps from 98.  Not sure if she still sells them but I've noticed a lot of the older stamps making a comeback!   The card is about 6X6 in the gate fold style.  My paper was 12 X 5 1/2 and I scored it at 3" and 9", giving it a 5 1/2 X 6 center.  Then I added the border punched yellow at the top to make it 6 X 6.  Inside the card I have a white panel stamped with "Will You BEE My Honey?"
Copics were used to color and Crystal glitter glue added to all the little bee wings.  Card is tied closed with sheer yellow ribbon.

Blues

These were done for a color challenge...Blues with a dessert of dots.  The first one above I used Washi tape in three colors and "wove" them together on white then cut an oval out of the middle.  I then ran it through my Cuttlebug with an embossing folder.  I stamped the words by Our Daily Bread Designs, on a separate piece of white cardstock a bit smaller and glued it beneath the Washi Tape panel and glued the whole thing to a white folded card.  I die cut the Butterfly (Cheery Lynn Designs) from Bo Bunny double dot, orange. Die cut the flower layers (Heartfelt Creations) from Bo Bunny double dot as well then formed the leaves (green vellum) and petals, layered and glued to card along with blue sheer ribbon.
The bottom card...used dies from Cheery Lynn Designs for the lattice and A Cut Above for the Hummer (bought from Elizabeth Craft Designs).
All the flowers are just pre-made paper flowers.  Some of the flowers I sprayed with ink misters to make them the color I wanted.  Used different color pearl halves (from Kaiser Craft) for flower centers.

Gamsol Coloring-Krafin' Kimmie Angel

This little Kraftin' Kimmie angel is colored mostly with colored pencils and Gamsol...which was the challenge.  Not sure if I like it but I have to admit that I need some practice since this is my first try!
The sentiment is from Verve Stamps. Dies are by Spellbinder.

Stencils

Did these cards for a CAS challenge on SCS.  We were to use stencils.
My stencils are from Dream Weaver.  The first one I call Silent Fall.  It is almost winter and most of the leaves have fallen and lay on the ground in mounds of color to be discovered by some lucky person. The leaves are from a punch by EK Success.
The other is a vase (vase and flowers on the vase are stencils) full of Cherry Blossoms. The Cherry Blossoms are a die from Spellbinder.  I added some distress Stickles in straw color to the blossoms and some Liquid Pearls in white around the blossoms.
