ODBDSLC250-Sketch Challenge

Good morning!

ODBD stamps used: Boho Blessing, Bugs and Butterfly

Well, my words are my tag/pennants in this case but other than that I pretty much followed the sketch.  I used the Boho background die to embossed the green layer under the sentiment and then again to die cut the horizontal layer.

Have you ever prayed for someone or something and not seen the answer right away?  Of course, we all have but, that does not mean that God is not at work according to your prayer. Thank Him today for what you prayed for yesterday (or even today) and believe that things are already working out according to God's plan. Yes, God's plan...are you praying according to His will?  What, you don't think you know His will? You do if you read His word because God will never do anything against His written word.
Other times you may be praying about who you should marry or something where the specific answer is not apparent...do this, put your intended's name into the I Cor. 13:4-7 Like this: (We will just say the name is Andy, that's my husband's name) Andy suffers long and is kind; Andy does not envy; Andy does not parade himself, he is not puffed up; Andy does not behave rudely, he does not seek his own way, he is not provoked, and he thinks no evil; he does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; Andy bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Hmmm, well something to think about.  Are you willing to wait for God's best or do you just want your own way?  Remember, He knows your future, He has a plan for you...don't settle for second best, wait on HIM.  And thank Him for the blessings already on their way!

What a beautiful take on the sketch Robin!! I just love the aqua and green, all the texture and detail, and the beautiful butterflies that add so much dimension and interest. Gorgeous design my friend!!

Yes, God does have a plan, better than any plan we have although at times we think we know what is best. Sometimes we want our earthly best rather than our spiritual best as well. It is the tough times that help us grow and they don't usually feel like they are our best times. LOL!
hugs and blessings,
Chris

These are yummy colors together, Robin! I like how you used the words in place of the pennants and the use of silver as an accent color! It's so pretty!

What a beautiful sketch card, Robin, and I love how you've used the word dies - brilliant! And your butterflies are gorgeous, and I love how you popped them! Yes, when we pray, we always must remember that we ask according to His will, not ours. What we ask isn't always the best for us...even though we may think so. But it's hard sometimes to pray and not get the answer we want. May we continue to trust Him to give us only that which will help us to grow to be more like Him...in Jesus' image. Hugs, sweet friend!

What vivid colors you have used on this card, love them. I really like the many textures you have included, but my favorite are the word cut outs of Faith and Hope. I immediately ordered this die set. Thanks for sharing your talent.
